Cookies Policy

How PipeRocket Digital uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on piperocket.digital. Categories, vendors, retention, and your options.

What this policy covers

This Cookies Policy explains how PipeRocket Digital (“PipeRocket”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit piperocket.digital or any of its sub-paths. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions. If anything here conflicts with the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy controls.

By continuing to use the site you accept the cookies described below. You can adjust or revoke your consent at any time using the controls described in the “Managing your preferences” section.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They store information such as a session identifier, your stated preferences, or anonymised analytics events. Most modern websites use them in some form. Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them). They can be set by us directly (first-party cookies) or by services we use on the site (third-party cookies).

This policy uses “cookies” as shorthand for the broader category of browser storage and tracking technologies, including local storage, session storage, and pixels.

Categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into four functional categories. Necessary cookies are always on. The other three categories are only set after you grant consent.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function. Without them the navigation breaks, secure pages cannot load, or forms cannot submit. We cannot disable these because the site would stop working.

Cookie / storage key Set by Purpose Retention
Session token piperocket.digital Keeps your session active across page views Session
Consent record piperocket.digital Remembers which cookie categories you have approved 12 months
CSRF token piperocket.digital Protects form submissions from cross-site forgery Session

2. Performance and analytics cookies

These cookies measure how the site is used so we can improve content, page speed, and information architecture. The data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Cookie / storage key Set by Purpose Retention
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics 4 Distinguishes unique visitors and sessions 13 months
_gid Google Analytics 4 Distinguishes unique visitors over 24 hours 24 hours
_gat, _gat_* Google Analytics 4 Throttles request rate 1 minute

3. Functional cookies

These cookies remember choices you make to give you a more personalised experience: which CTA you have already engaged with, whether you have closed a banner, or which preview state of a page you are reading. They are not required for the site to load, but disabling them makes the site less convenient.

Cookie / storage key Set by Purpose Retention
pr_ui_prefs piperocket.digital Remembers UI choices (closed banners, theme variants) 6 months
pr_visit_state piperocket.digital Tracks whether you are a first-time or returning visitor 12 months

4. Marketing and re-targeting cookies

These cookies are set when you arrive from a paid campaign, an outbound email, or a partner referral, and they help us understand which campaigns drive qualified pipeline. They can also be used by ad platforms to show you relevant PipeRocket ads on other sites you visit.

Cookie / storage key Set by Purpose Retention
_fbp Meta (Facebook) Measures conversions from Meta ads 90 days
li_fat_id, bcookie, lidc LinkedIn Measures conversions from LinkedIn ads, supports LinkedIn Insight Tag Up to 24 months
_gcl_au Google Ads Measures conversions from Google Ads 90 days
__hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc HubSpot Connects website behaviour to CRM records Up to 13 months

We do not sell the data captured by these cookies. We use it to attribute pipeline and to retarget known visitors with brand and service ads.

Vendors we work with

The third-party services that set cookies on our behalf currently include: Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager), Meta (Facebook Pixel), LinkedIn (Insight Tag), HubSpot (Marketing Hub), and Clutch (Reviews widget). Each operates under its own privacy and cookies policy. If you visit our site we recommend reviewing those policies directly:

We update the vendor list as we add or remove services. The list above reflects the vendors active as of the policy’s last-updated date.

Managing your preferences

You can manage cookies in three places.

On the site

Use the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of any page to open the consent panel. You can grant or revoke consent for each non-necessary category individually. Your choice is stored for 12 months. We re-prompt when the policy changes materially.

In your browser

Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies at the browser level. The exact controls vary:

Blocking all cookies will prevent strictly necessary cookies from being set, which means parts of the site will stop working.

Industry opt-out tools

For advertising and analytics specifically, you can opt out through industry frameworks:

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) header with each request. There is no industry consensus on how a site should respond to DNT, so we honour explicit consent decisions made on the site rather than DNT headers. If we adopt a different position in the future we will update this policy.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least annually and any time we add, remove, or materially change a vendor. The “Last updated” date below reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be re-prompted on the site so you can re-confirm your preferences.
