Attribution Reviews: Scores, Pricing, and User Feedback

Attribution Reviews: Scores, Pricing, and User Feedback

Attribution (attributionapp.com) is a multi-touch marketing attribution platform. Its two independent review scores diverge: G2’s larger, mixed-incentive sample sits below a Gartner-network pool built from a much smaller and partly stale sample.

Attribution Review Overview

  • G2: 4.5/5 from 51 reviews, read September 2026, mixed incentive labels including G2 and seller invites alongside organic reviews
  • Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice: 4.7/5 from 12 reviews, read September 2026, one shared Gartner Digital Markets sample republished across all three sites, includes a review dated August 2020
  • TrustRadius: no profile found, confirmed by a real 404 page, read September 2026
  • Trustpilot: no profile found, confirmed by a real 404 page, read September 2026

What Users Say About Attribution

Reviewers describe onboarding speed, support quality and cross-channel visibility as strengths, with dashboard load times and access to historical data cited as recurring friction points.

G2 (4.5/5, 51 reviews, read September 2026)

G2’s sample carries mixed incentive labels: some reviews are marked “Incentivized/G2 invite” or “Incentivized/Seller invite,” others “Source: Organic.”

What users praise

  • Precise multi-touch attribution modeling and clear visibility into what drives return on ad spend
  • Named support staff cited by reviewers for hands-on onboarding help
  • Ability to customize views and drill into traffic sources and campaigns

Where users push back

  • Dashboard views can be slow to load at times
  • Getting retroactive or historical attribution data from before setup is difficult

“Attribution App transformed our marketing analytics with precise multi-touch attribution modeling… Special mention to Cameron Horton, who provided exceptional support throughout the onboarding process and made implementation seamless.”

  • Verified User, Retail, Small-Business (G2, incentivized/G2 invite) (G2 )

“My favorite part of Attribution is the ability to get comprehensive detailed view of traffic, and easily customize views and drill down into traffic sources and campaigns.”

  • Willem B., CEO, Small-Business (G2, incentivized/seller invite) (G2 )

Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice (4.7/5, 12 reviews, read September 2026)

These three sites all display the identical Gartner Digital Markets sample: 4.7/5 on 12 reviews, with matching star distributions (nine 5-star, two 4-star, one 3-star) and matching secondary ratings for ease of use, value for money and customer support. This is one underlying review sample republished three times, not three independent readings, which leaves only two independent scores on this page overall (G2 and the Gartner pool). One review in the sample is dated August 2020, meaning the current 4.7/5 is partly carried by a stale entry. GetApp discloses a referral fee for vendor visits from its listing.

What users praise

  • Cohort analysis and multi-day return-on-ad-spend visibility, per the platform description matching vendor language
  • High marks for customer service and value for money in the shared secondary ratings

Where users push back

  • The sample is small and includes at least one review from six years before this read
  • Per-review incentive status is not disclosed on the page sections read for Capterra and GetApp

TrustRadius and Trustpilot: no profile found

Both platforms returned confirmed 404 pages when checked directly on September 4, 2026, so there is no readable score to report for either, and no consumer-facing complaint channel to weigh against the B2B platforms above.

Where the Review Platforms Disagree

Attribution has exactly two independent review scores: G2’s 4.5/5 on 51 reviews and the Gartner network’s 4.7/5 on 12 reviews (counted once, since Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice all republish the same sample). The higher score sits on the thinner and older sample: 12 reviews including one from August 2020, against G2’s 51 reviews spanning 2024 to 2025. G2’s sample also carries disclosed incentive labels on some reviews, while the Gartner pool’s per-review incentive status is not shown on the page sections read for two of the three sites. Neither figure is more trustworthy than the other by default. The reader should weigh the sample size, age and incentive mix rather than treat either number as the definitive one. There is no Trustpilot or TrustRadius data to add a third, independent read.

Attribution Pricing

Read directly from attributionapp.com/pricing on September 4, 2026, in USD with no visible discount banner.

  • Pro (marked “Most Popular”): starts at $399/month, billed monthly, for up to 10,000 monthly tracked website visitors. Annual billing is offered at “Save 16% annually,” with no absolute annual dollar figure shown on the page. Overage runs $10 per 1,000 visitors beyond the cap. Gate to Custom: multi-project support, data warehouse tooling (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks), custom data sources, TV/broadcast and offline channel tracking, account-based attribution, and custom lookback windows.
  • Shopify plan: a separate track starting at $199/month, mentioned inline on the Pro pricing page rather than as a full tier card.
  • Custom: sales-gated, tailored to visitor, seat and support needs, includes all Pro features plus the advanced items above and free managed onboarding (a $2,500 to $5,000 value on other tiers).
  • No free version. Pro and Shopify plans include a 14-day free trial; Custom trial requires contacting sales.

Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice all list a different starting price that does not match the vendor’s current Pro price. That figure is not reproduced here because the vendor’s own pricing page is the only source used for this section.

Attribution as a Vendor: Stability Signals

There is essentially no stability signal available for this vendor. Glassdoor carries a profile matching Attribution’s San Francisco headquarters, but it shows zero reviews as of September 4, 2026. Comparably returned an access-denied response on two separate attempts, so the existence of a profile there is unknown rather than confirmed absent. Indeed was not checked in this research pass. A separate Glassdoor entity named “Marketing Attribution,” headquartered in Evanston, Illinois, is a different company and is not reported here. Attribution’s own founding year and founders could not be confirmed on attributionapp.com, which has no reachable about page; third-party sources report a 2014 founding, but that figure is unverified at the source and is not asserted as fact here.

Do You Need the Tool or the Outcome?

Attribution software will tell you which channels and touchpoints drove a conversion, but it will not build, run or optimize the campaigns that feed it data. The license itself is the cheap part next to the headcount needed to set up tracking, interpret the dashboards and act on what they show.
