Skai Reviews: What Users Actually Say (2026)

Skai Reviews: What Users Actually Say (2026)

Skai is an enterprise omnichannel advertising platform (search, social, retail media) that renamed from Kenshoo on June 8, 2021. G2’s 4.0/5 on 297 current reviews is its largest sample; the higher scores elsewhere sit on smaller pools still blended with pre-rename Kenshoo reviews.

Skai Review Overview

  • G2: 4.0/5 on 297 reviews, checked September 2026, majority of sampled reviews tagged Incentivized or sourced via G2 invite, no reviews predating the 2021 rename.
  • Capterra / GetApp / Software Advice: 4.3/5 on 42 reviews, one Gartner review pool republished three times, checked September 2026, spanning 2017 to 2025 with several reviews naming Kenshoo directly.
  • TrustRadius: 9/10 on 35 ratings (17 written reviews), checked September 2026, all sampled reviews tagged Incentivized, review titles naming Kenshoo directly.
  • Trustpilot: profile exists, zero reviews, unclaimed, checked September 2026.

What Users Say About Skai

Users across platforms praise bulk campaign editing, cross-channel dashboards and a responsive dedicated account team. Pushback centers on retail-media data lag, long onboarding, and enterprise contract terms.

G2: 4.0/5 (297 reviews, checked September 2026)

G2’s listing carries reviews dating from 2022 onward; navigating to a Kenshoo product URL redirects to this same Skai page, and no pre-rename reviews were found here. Multiple reviews sampled carry the tags “Incentivized,” “Source: G2 invite,” “Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller” or “Source: G2 Gives Campaign,” so this score should not be read as organic-only.

What users praise:

  • Unifies search, social and retail media reporting in one place
  • Bulk editing and automated bidding save time
  • Dedicated account or CSM team called out repeatedly as responsive

Where users push back:

  • Retail-media coverage uneven against Amazon and search/social, with data lag and feature parity varying by retailer
  • UI heavy to configure for budget groups and rules
  • Automations described as “a bit of a black box”
  • Occasional API or report failures with unhelpful error messages

“Skai’s main drawback for us is that, beyond search/social, the retail-media coverage feels uneven: data can lag, feature parity varies by retailer (notably around Amazon DSP and newer formats), and some automations are a bit of a black box.”

Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice: 4.3/5 (42 reviews, checked September 2026)

These three are one Gartner Digital Markets review pool republished three times: identical 4.3 rating, identical 42-review count, and an identical 22/14/4/1/1 star distribution on Capterra and GetApp, with Software Advice showing the same headline figure. Treat this as a single sample, not three independent corroborations.

This listing’s URL slug is still “Kenshoo-Search,” and the pool is explicitly blended: reviews run from November 2017 through 2025, and several older reviews name “Kenshoo” directly in the title or body, including one reviewer describing seven-plus years as a Kenshoo customer. A separate “Kenshoo Social” Capterra listing was checked and confirmed absent, a 404, so only this Search-lineage pool survives under the Skai name. Part of the 4.3 average reflects sentiment about a differently-named, older product.

GetApp discloses a referral-fee relationship on vendor links. No incentive tag was visible in the rendered review cards on any of the three; underlying incentive JSON was not inspected this run, so that is a gap, not a confirmed absence of incentives.

What users praise:

  • Bulk editing and automated actions save time
  • Dedicated account or support team named repeatedly as excellent
  • Dashboards useful for stakeholder reporting
  • Broad channel coverage across Google, Bing, Amazon and social

Where users push back:

  • Setup described as taking months with a steep learning curve
  • Frequent bugs, including charts not loading and API sync breaking
  • High price and minimum-spend thresholds gating who Skai will take on as a client
  • Annual rate increases at renewal regardless of actual spend

“Skai is the highest priced bid management platform in our evaluation of 4 platforms and we will have annual rate increases every year, regardless of the amount of spend we are/are not suing (sic).”

  • Brittany B., Sr. Director Digital Marketing, Financial Services (Capterra )

TrustRadius: 9/10 (35 ratings, 17 written reviews, checked September 2026)

TrustRadius’s header states “35 Reviews and Ratings,” while the review list itself displays 17 written reviews; both figures are reported as TrustRadius shows them, not reconciled. Every one of the five reviews sampled carries TrustRadius’s own “Incentivized” tag. This is the smallest, most incentivized and most obviously blended sample on the page: review titles include “Kenshoo - Solid Platform!” from May 2021, and TrustRadius has evidently edited some post-rename review text to insert “[Skai]” ahead of “Kenshoo” inside the review body. One reviewer, self-identified as a software engineer at Kenshoo, is reviewing his own employer’s product; that entry is not an independent customer view and is excluded from the quotes and themes below.

What users praise:

  • Bid-policy automation and flexibility
  • Exportable reporting templates
  • Bulk “Desktop Editor” optimizations improving ROAS on Amazon Search for at least one agency reviewer

Where users push back:

  • Hierarchy and terminology described as confusing
  • Requests for more automated conditions on the audit tool
  • Ecommerce ad-scheduling UX described as confusing

“Need more automated applied changes. Has to provide with more conditions and criteria on the audit tool. Hierarchy could be a bit confusing.”

  • Jorge Peralta, Digital Media Manager, White Shark Media (TrustRadius )

Trustpilot: profile exists, zero reviews (checked September 2026)

Skai’s Trustpilot profile is unclaimed with zero reviews and a 0.0 rating, explicitly stating it hasn’t received any reviews yet. This provides no usable comparison sample.

Where the Review Platforms Disagree

The direction of this divergence runs opposite to what a skimmer would assume. TrustRadius posts the highest headline score, 9/10, but it sits on the thinnest sample (35 ratings, 17 written reviews), it is entirely incentivized, and its review titles and edited body text show it is a pool merged with pre-rename Kenshoo reviews going back to 2021. The Gartner pool (Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice) posts 4.3/5, but on only 42 reviews spanning 2017 to 2025, also blended with Kenshoo-era sentiment. G2’s 4.0/5, the lowest headline number of the three, sits on the largest sample by far (297 reviews), the most current (no reviews predating the 2021 rename), and the most transparently incentive-labelled. In short: the higher the score on this page, the smaller and staler the sample it rests on. Trustpilot offers no B2B-versus-consumer contrast here since it carries no reviews at all.

Skai Pricing

Read at skai.io/pricing on 2026-09-04, published in USD and gated by the advertiser’s annual ad spend rather than by seats:

  • Standard (up to $4M/year ad spend): $114,000/year
  • Advanced (up to $10M/year ad spend): $276,000/year
  • Enterprise (up to $20M/year ad spend): $504,000/year
  • Enterprise Premier (up to $35M/year ad spend): $756,000/year
  • Enterprise Premier+ (over $35M/year ad spend): contact sales

Most enterprise platforms in this category publish nothing at all; Skai’s own page lists exact annual figures. A reader should not assume these are per-seat prices: the tier that applies is set by how much ad spend runs through the platform, not headcount. The page also describes “predictable annual pricing” with “the flexibility to review your commitment after the first three months,” which reads as a standing annual commitment with a quarterly check-in rather than month-to-month billing, and it directs advertisers below the Standard tier’s implied floor to reseller partners instead of listing a lower price.

Software Advice’s own listing for this product states “Pricing available upon request,” directly at odds with the vendor’s detailed published tiers above. Both are reported here; the disagreement is not reconciled.

Skai as a Vendor: Stability Signals

Source Score Reviews Last checked
Glassdoor3.5/5 358 September 2026

Glassdoor’s Skai profile shows 3.5/5, with the overview page stating “based on 358 ratings” while a FAQ block on the same page states “362 anonymous reviews,” both figures reported as shown rather than reconciled. 64% of reviewers say they’d recommend Skai to a friend, and CEO Yoav Izhar-Prato holds 76% approval. Comparably does list a “Skai” profile, but it belongs to an unrelated company (Coral Networks, website skai.net, HQ Reston, VA, CEO Kabir Mulchandani) rather than the Skai advertising platform (skai.io) reviewed on this page, so it carries no usable data point here.

On the client side, reviewers across G2 and Capterra repeatedly named a dedicated account or customer success manager as a strength of using Skai. That sits alongside a recent Glassdoor review from a Customer Success Manager function describing management and pay negatively. These are two separately sourced observations, not a causal claim about one explaining the other, but a buyer relying on high-touch account support is the kind of reader for whom CSM turnover risk is worth watching.

Do You Need the Tool or the Outcome?

Skai’s own pricing page ties cost to ad spend, not to whether the spend performs, and the platform’s bulk editing and automated bidding still need someone deciding which channels, budgets and retail-media placements to run. The reviews above repeatedly credit a dedicated account team for making the platform work, which is itself a signal that the licence alone does not carry an enterprise media program. The annual commitment and renewal price escalation reviewers describe make the licence the smaller cost next to the headcount required to plan, configure and act on what it reports.
