Keysearch Reviews: What Users Actually Say (2026)

Keysearch Reviews: What Users Actually Say (2026)

Keysearch is a low-cost keyword research tool aimed at bloggers, affiliates and solo SEOs. Only one platform carries a real score, Trustpilot at 3.5/5 across 28 reviews; every standard B2B software directory has no listing at all.

Keysearch Review Overview

  • G2: No listing found, searched directly on G2’s own site, checked September 2026.
  • Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice: No listing on Capterra, read directly and confirmed as a clean zero-result, checked September 2026. GetApp and Software Advice could not be read cleanly because their own search endpoints were returning errors; because all three republish one Gartner Digital Markets pool, the absence is inferred from Capterra rather than read on each.
  • TrustRadius: No dedicated product page, only a passing mention inside an unrelated Semrush review, checked September 2026.
  • Trustpilot: 3.5/5 on 28 reviews, checked September 2026, claimed profile not recently soliciting reviews, all sampled reviews tagged “Unprompted review.”

What Users Say About Keysearch

Trustpilot is the only platform with a readable sample. It is small (28 reviews, only 2 in the last 12 months) and unsolicited, so treat the score as directional, not a robust measurement.

Trustpilot: 3.5/5 (28 reviews, checked September 2026)

The profile is claimed (since April 2024) but Trustpilot’s own banner notes “no recent history of asking for reviews” and that the company “hasn’t replied to negative reviews.” Trustpilot prohibits companies from offering review incentives, and every sampled review is tagged “Unprompted review,” so there is no solicitation to disclose here, only the small, aging sample size to caveat.

What users praise:

  • Affordability versus larger suites like Ahrefs and Semrush, named specifically by multiple reviewers
  • Simplicity and ease of use for beginners and bloggers
  • Long-term satisfaction among multi-year users doing SEO consulting or writing work

Where users push back:

  • Duplicate charges when upgrading plans, with the old lower-tier subscription left active alongside the new one
  • Difficulty cancelling, including a reported non-functioning cancel button
  • Slow or bot-only support with no reply to emails
  • Keyword volume accuracy flagged as an occasional limitation, though one reviewer framed this as common to the category rather than unique to Keysearch

“Keysearch is a great tool that provides poor support. I tried the tool, paid for a couple of months, and then decided it would be cheaper to sign up for an annual membership. Today I was billed for the monthly membership. The card was locked. They deactivated my account.”

The complaint above is one of four independent reviewers (Mary Paddock, Pete Saunders, Tony M, Millenium Chan) who separately report duplicate charges on plan upgrades and a broken or unresponsive cancellation flow. Four unconnected reviewers converging on the same billing mechanism, old subscriptions not deactivating on upgrade, is the most decision-relevant finding on this page, more useful to a buyer than the headline 3.5 itself.

The Footprint Problem, Not a Platform Disagreement

There is no cross-platform disagreement to report here, because only one platform has a score to disagree with. That absence is itself the finding. Keysearch markets itself as having 10,000+ users and runs an active, current pricing page, yet it has zero presence on G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, GetApp or Software Advice, the directories a typical B2B software buyer checks before purchase. This is consistent with who actually buys Keysearch: bloggers, affiliate publishers and solo SEOs rarely leave reviews on B2B-style directories, so the audience that uses the tool and the audience that populates those platforms barely overlap.

Practically, this means the 3.5/5 on Trustpilot has no independent sample to check it against. It is not corroborated and it is not contradicted, it simply stands alone, on a small and aging base. The Gartner shared-pool caveat that applies to other review pages is moot here in the usual sense: Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice would ordinarily republish one pool as three, but in this case all three are empty, so there is no risk of a reader seeing triplicated confirmation of a real number.

Keysearch Pricing

Read from keysearch.co’s own pricing page on September 4, 2026. The page shows figures with a plain dollar sign and no currency code or country header, so the currency cannot be confirmed as USD; figures are reported exactly as displayed.

  • Starter: $24/month, or $20/month billed annually. Includes 200 keyword searches/day, 80 tracked keywords/month, 2K audited pages/month, 5K AI credits/month. Does not include the Foresight AI recommendation engine.
  • Pro: $48/month, or $40/month billed annually. Includes 500 keyword searches/day, 200 tracked keywords/month, 5K audited pages/month, 15K AI credits/month, and unlocks Foresight.

The gate that matters most for a keyword tool is the daily search cap, 200/day on Starter against 500/day on Pro, not the monthly price difference. Both tiers include Keyword Research, Live SERP Analysis, Competitor Analysis, Backlink Analysis, YouTube Research, SEO Auditor, AI Content Assistant and Rank Tracking. A 7-day free trial is offered. Whether a standing or referral voucher applies at checkout could not be confirmed; the pricing page’s own CTA buttons resolve to JavaScript anchors rather than direct checkout links.

Keysearch as a Vendor: Stability Signals

Glassdoor and Indeed show no Keysearch company profile at all, checked September 2026, consistent with a very small, bootstrapped company rather than a research gap. Comparably’s Keysearch page returned an access-denied response on two attempts, so its status is unconfirmed, not absent.

No layoffs, leadership churn, acquisition or ownership-change signal was found anywhere in this sweep, because no employer-side platform returned readable content to check. On the client side, the recurring billing and cancellation complaints on Trustpilot stand on their own; there is no employer-side data available to set beside them.

Do You Need the Tool or the Outcome?

Keysearch can return a keyword list, a SERP breakdown and a rank track, but it cannot decide which keywords are worth targeting for your business, write the content that ranks for them, or resolve a billing dispute if one comes up. That judgment and execution work sits with whoever runs SEO day to day, and for a tool this cheap, the licence itself was never going to be the expensive part, the headcount to use it well is.
